Program Note

In 2015 the official announcement of this great discovery was made. After this official announcement I dedicated myself to research in depth about this discovery to write this script. I have always been attracted to the themes of lost cities and ancient civilizations. This discovery caught my attention because it happened in my native Honduras, and I was also very interested to know that there was a connection with the New York of the 40’s, because curiously in 1933 the movie King Kong had premiered in the Radio City Music Hall in New York. It also filled me with great interest to know that the technological elements of our time helped to discover this wonderful lost city that was sought by many explorers since the time of Hernan Cortés.
I share excerpts from the script through the songs I have composed (Audio in Spanish with English subtitles).
